For a quick grab-and-go pop-up lunch try The Window ATL at the MET in West End

Recently, when I wanted anything but the lunch I brought to work, I decided to see what The Window ATL was up to. Located at MET Atlanta in West End, the Window hosts different pop-ups throughout the week, serving hot dogs, Vietnamese cuisine, and more. The other week, I stopped by to take a look at the Colombian menu from Kraffee that was posted for lunch. On it was paisa, callejera, and mazorcada. I settled on beef paisa with a plantain base. On top was a mixture of pinto beans, sweet plantain chunks, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, avocado, greens, and sprouts all drizzled with a medley of house-made sauces — red pepper, green pepper, honey mustard, and garlic mayo. Bursts of sweetness, creamy avocado, crunchy plantains, and zingy sauces outdid anything I could have packed for lunch that day. Plus, it gave me a glimpse of Colombian cuisine. No doubt, I’ll be headed back to the Window for the pupusas, coffee, and whatever else pops up there in the future. 680 Murphy Avenue
